The repeated effect of pressure on the surface of the polyurethane foam which the foams experienced in its normal life can be evaluated efficiently by creating the realistic conditions inside the testing laboratories. This can be done by applying repeated forces for a specific number of times on the specimen which helps to measure the effect of pounding on the physical features of thickness, hardness index, cell structure to evaluate the quality of the polyurethane foam.
Presto’s Pounding tester is the best testing instrument which is introduced to test the quality of Polyurethane foam. The instrument comprises a flat metal base which is provided to place the test samples on a circular surface of standard size and shape which can be easily pressed and lifted with the foam slab, a motor operated arrangement is provided with the instrument to provide repeated movements to the indenter. The Presto’s Pounding tester is also equipped with the digital counter to count the total number of poundings that are applied to the test samples. The horizontal platform of the instrument has a large number of holes that are drilled in it for the air to escape through. The indenter has a round edge and circular in shape that helps to prevent the specimen from the damage at the time of testing. The testing machine offers highly reliable and accurate test results.
