The temperature of the machine can be set from ambient to 400oC to provide the optimum level of temperature to the specimens so that the plastic can be melted efficiently. The instrument has an automatic cutter that cuts the melted sample efficiently after a period of ten minutes. To calculate the melt flow rate of the plastics, this specimen is weighed and expressed in grams per 10 minutes. The test device provides highly reliable and precise results.
