Impact Tester for Glass Bottles

Impact testers are used widely to determine the impact resistance, breakage and various strength related characteristics of glass products to ensure that they are strong enough for their intended use. Presto’s Impact tester for Glass Bottles offers a reproducible strength to evaluate the impact resistance of glass bottles and containers. The testing instrument offers highly reliable and accurate test results.

Impact test on Glass Bottles can be tested on large number of products like:

• Cosmetic bottles and perfume bottles.
• Beer Bottles or Food jars
• Glass products which are used for various trading purposes like stemware.

Generally, impact test is passed when a contact point of a particular product like the edges of glasses comes in physical contact with the impact, and the process is carried out until the glass breaks. Hence, the test is performed on the sample until there is a visible break in the sample.
