The determination of water absorptiveness can be done by measuring the strength and adequacy level of the paperboard in which the test specimen is first weighed and then placed on water resistant rubber base inside the cylindrical ring. Now the container is filled with sufficient quantity of water by exposing the upper side of the paper to the water.
