1. Preparing the Sample for testing-
In order to receive accurate results, the specimen must fit the UTM Machine correctly. Thus, depending on the material you can either transform it into a dumbbell shaped specimen or bring it down to appropriate proportions by cutting them into strips. The fourth and final step involves starting the machine and observing the force applied.
