Peel Adhesion of Pressure-Sensitive Tapes

Peel Adhesion of Pressure-Sensitive Tapes

Presto designs and manufactures the best and superior quality of Adhesion Tester for measuring the peel adhesion of pressure sensitive tapes. Peel adhesion strength of the pressure-sensitive tapes is defined as the force which is required to separate the pressure sensitive tapes and coated materials which are applied to the standard test plates under some specific conditions from a certain angle and with a certain speed.

The testing machine is designed as per the national and international standard test methods. The instrument is designed on the sturdy metal base that ensures the products durability. Peel adhesion refers to the ability of a pressure-sensitive tape to resist delamination or separation from a surface when peeled back at a specified angle and speed. It is a measure of the tape's bonding strength to a particular substrate.

Presto manufactures the best quality of Seal Tester, which helps to measure the seal or peel adhesion of pressure sensitive tapes. The instrument is capable enough to peel the laminates trough an angle of 180o and with the separation speed of 300mm/min. The instrument works with an accuracy of +/- 2%. The device is very compact and table top model which requires very less space and can be placed anywhere in the laboratory. Moreover, it is provided with an additional option of Peak and Hold that helps to store the maximum value in the memory along with the unique calibration facility. An additional fixture of 90 degree is also provided with the device to test the adhesive response of different types of laminates. The instrument is provided with a user guide, calibration certificate and many more.
